Temperly London and other fashion houses have broken off from the typical cat-eye look and colour |
In this Autumn/Winter 2014-15 season,
the world of makeup has undergone a
small revolution. The classic eyeliner
transforms the classic "cat-eyes" into
geometrical and bi-color eyes.
Every season has it's beauty revolution,
and, this spring-summer it was
tri-demensional blush, now it's
the eyeliner.
Chanel and another 10 designer houses
have opted for giving the "cat-eyes"
look a twist; this time it's not
all about a black eyeliner. The
predominant colours are blue, pink,
gold, silver, granate and metallic
tones. Chanel's eyeline is bi-color,
combining two different colours to
achieve the cat-eye effect. Marc Jacobs has
opted to use an eye pencil instead of liquid liner,
which gives a deep eye-lid effect.
Rag & Bone has opted for the geometrical eyes, whereas Puglisi has eliminated the cat-eye flick all together, creating a simple and harmonious look.
