Generic versions of the drug viagra have caused it's value
to plummet up to 93%. Since the viagra patent ran out last year,
it will become more widely available to people all over the
world. In the UK, changes have been made to make the drug available
on prescription to boost men's love lives; before it was
only available for people who suffered impotence as side effects
of an illness. It is estimated that half of all men between 40 and 70 suffer from erectile dysfunction. Since the patent expired in June 2013, rival companies have developed "generic" forms of viagra containing the same ingredient, sildenafil,
selling for a small portion of the price.
