in Germany. The Circus, based in Munich, has announced there
are three male cubs and one female.
The white lion is caused by a rare color mutation that originated in the
Timbavati area of South Africa. The earliest recorded sighting
of the white lion was in 1938.

the lion King Tonga. He is 11 years own and aquired by the
Circus as a present from a Prince of Saudi Arabia who was
inspired by the lion-show.
King Tonga's trainer of 11 years is Martin Lacey Jr., a British
trainer, who has won several awards for his work.
King Tonga(11) and Princess(7), had their first cub in 2011, followed
by six baby cubs in 2012. In April 2014 he also fathered a cub, Diamond,
from a different lioness.
There are only several hundred of these species worldwide, most of them
in zoos and circuses. Their natural habitat is the
greater Timbavati bush area of South Africa.
