How to decorate in a contemporary style

Modern interior's were often thought of as cold
and minimalist. But today's contemporary design
is comfortable and welcoming. The colour pallete
is usually neutral colours with primary bloc colours.
The essence is to make the materials, such as
wood, metal, chrome and glass the highlights
of the interior. This can be achieved through bespoke pieces or looking for standard furniture made from these materials. The shape must be geometric, with simple curves, edges and clean line in furniture.
Sleek modern design has no knick-knacks or
detailed carving to have to dust around or that draws the attention of the beholder. Art pieces are carefully chosen and play a big part in modern interior design.
