Y-40 Deep Joy is the world's deepest swimming pool

The Y-40 Deep Joy is the name of the
world's deepest indoor swimming pool. The
incredible pool is in the Hotel Millepini
in Montegrotto Terme, a small town in Italy.
It was built to attract leisure divers, dive
training and photo shoots. The pool is
40 metres deep (130 feet); this is the
equivalent of a 12-storey building or
nine double decker buses placed on top
of each other. There is also an underwater transparent tunnel that is suspended through the middle of the pool so visitors can get the experience without getting wet. There are opportunities to practice free diving and cave diving in the Y-40 Deep Joy.
